Andy Taylor is a global transportation professional having worked in the domain for over 30 years. He has strong technical vision combined with first class interpersonal skills have enabled him to engage with a broad customer base within the Transportation arena. This has led to new geographical, technical and operational markets opening up with the added benefit of cross fertilisation of ideas and technologies across all regions and stakeholders. Taylor has a spectrum of customers and contacts in the USA and Europe with unrivalled access to a broad ranging consultancy offering to all transportation domains. He started in Europe providing a harmonization role for the UK Department for Transport between the Air Traffic Control programs of Europe and the USA, before relocating to Washington DC 12 years ago to set up several transportation business lines for various companies.

Andy has been at Cubic for nearly 7 years now; managing the Global Strategy team, focusing on Strategic Partnerships with some of the world’s leading technology and software companies. In that role he has shaped the Cubic vision and solution for Mobility-as-a-Service and led the team that developed the complex cost-benefit analysis models to help cities and transit agencies evaluate the potential benefits of integrated multi-modal transport options. Taylor’s focus is now on working with user communities and transit agencies to educate them on the true benefits and impacts of Mobility-as-a-Service to ensure all stakeholders understand the impact that they can have on urban mobility through having pertinent data, improved operational performance and consolidated accounting solutions.

Recently He has completed the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) Leadership Course class of 2019 and join 550 other members of this Alumni that have shown leadership in public transportation development and management.
